Duties
- Assist attorneys with case intake, client interviews, and gathering relevant documentation for personal injury claims
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools across various practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, workers' compensation law, and more
- Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and correspondence with precision and clarity
- Manage case files using iManage and other document management systems to ensure organized and accessible records
- Support litigation processes by reviewing documents, preparing trial exhibits, and coordinating with experts or witnesses
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate case management logs to track case progress and deadlines
- Provide administrative support including calendaring court dates, filing documents electronically or physically, and handling phone inquiries professionally
Experience
- Paralegal experience in a law office setting with exposure to personal injury law or related fields such as family law, landlord-tenant law, or securities law preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with legal administrative tools like PCLaw, Clio, or other case management software
- Strong research skills utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research platforms
- Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence with attention to detail
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience conducting client interviews and interviewing witnesses or experts is a plus
- Knowledge of UCC law, tribal regulations, patent law or immigration law is advantageous but not required
- Exceptional clerical skills including proofreading, transcription, filing, data entry, and document review
- Effective communication skills with professional phone etiquette and the ability to support attorneys with executive administrative tasks

Pay: $52,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
