Hydraulic Hose Installation Technician - Texas City, Galveston, Alvin

**We are looking for a technician to service customers in the Texas City, Galveston, and Alvin areas. Our store is based in Alvin.**

Responsibilities:

• Show up to job sites on time, in uniform, and ready to get to work
• Diagnose hydraulic hose and fitting issues and make on-the-spot repairs
• Build hoses to meet exact specs and test them to make sure they work right
• Communicate clearly with customers and job site contacts—be the face of PIRTEK in the field
• Submit job tickets and reports digitally as soon as the job is done
• Keep your service van clean, organized, and fully stocked—treat it like your rolling workshop
• Maintain accurate van inventory using cycle count sheets
• Follow company safety and idle time standards when operating the van
• Handle basic sales calls or customer check-ins as assigned
• Report any equipment problems or site issues to management right away
• Uphold PIRTEK’s professional appearance and service standards on every job

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Mechanically inclined with hands-on experience (automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, or similar a plus)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions year-round
• Comfortable working independently and solving problems in the field
• Strong communication skills and a professional, respectful attitude
• Willing to be part of an on-call rotation for after-hours service
• Basic smartphone and tablet skills (for work orders and job reporting)
• Prior hose, hydraulic, or mechanical repair experience is preferred—but we’ll train the right person
• Must pass a background check and drug screen

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
