Hydraulic Mechanic

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Mechanic to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot hydraulic systems in vehicles, machinery, and plant equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with hydraulic components and systems, strong problem-solving skills, and a focus on safety.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems and components
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with hydraulic machinery
• Assemble, disassemble, and replace hydraulic parts such as pumps, valves, and cylinders
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
• Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used
• Collaborate with supervisors and other mechanics to ensure smooth operations
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures

Requirements:

• Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
• Proven experience as a hydraulic mechanic or similar role
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, and cylinders
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Physically fit and safety-conscious
