Hydraulic Mechanic

Position Overview

We are seeking two highly experienced Hydraulic Mechanics for one of our clients. The successful candidates will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing hydraulic systems used in heavy equipment and machinery. The ideal candidates must possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and extensive hands-on experience with hydraulic components and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on hydraulic systems, components, and heavy equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Repair, overhaul, and replace hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, hoses, and related components.
• Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, technical manuals, and engineering drawings.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Test hydraulic systems and ensure proper performance after maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and industry standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance personnel to minimize equipment downtime.
• Recommend improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or Diploma, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Systems, Heavy Equipment Maintenance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of proven experience as a Hydraulic Mechanic.
• Extensive hands-on experience with hydraulic systems used in heavy equipment, construction machinery, industrial equipment, or similar applications.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic troubleshooting, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic diagrams and technical documentation.
• Experience using hydraulic testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Familiarity with safety standards and maintenance best practices.
