Hydraulic Press Mechanic / Technician

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Hydraulic Press Mechanic / Technician to handle mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of hydraulic press machines in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine, preventive and breakdown maintenance of hydraulic press machines
• Inspect, repair and maintain hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, hoses, and fittings
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to pressure loss, oil leakage, overheating and machine performance
• Ensure proper lubrication, alignment and safe operation of machines
• Maintain maintenance records and follow safety standards

Job Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience with hydraulic press machines
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems (pressure, flow, pumps and valves)
• Experience in cylinder seal replacement and hydraulic pump maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical faults efficiently
• Experience working in a factory or industrial setup
• Basic electrical knowledge will be an advantage

Qualifications:

• DAE (Mechanical) / Diploma in Mechanical Technology preferred
• OR
• Technical Certification in Hydraulic / Mechanical Maintenance

OR

• Matric / Intermediate with strong hands-on industrial experienceExperience:

Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in hydraulic press maintenance
