Hydraulic Technician

Job Summary

Future Scaffolding & Aluminium Industries is seeking two experienced Hydraulic Maintenance Technicians to join our Maintenance Department at our aluminum extrusion factory. The ideal candidates will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing hydraulic and related mechanical systems to ensure optimal production performance and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inspection & Diagnosis

• Perform periodic inspections of hydraulic, mechanical, gas, and pneumatic systems and their components.
• Identify potential faults and ensure systems operate within safe and efficient parameters.

2. Preventive Maintenance

• Execute periodic maintenance plans and routine servicing.
• Change hydraulic oils and ensure fluid quality is contaminant-free.
• Clean and replace filters, seals, and other hydraulic components.

3. Troubleshooting & Repair

• Diagnose hydraulic system faults accurately.
• Disassemble, repair, or replace damaged hydraulic components.
• Reassemble and calibrate systems according to manufacturer manuals.

4. Hydraulic Diagram Reading

• Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and flow diagrams.
• Identify flow paths, pressure points, and potential fault areas.

5. Hydraulic System Operation

• Adjust hydraulic control points, valves, pumps, hoses, and related components.
• Ensure all systems function within designed safety limits.

6. Documentation

• Record all maintenance activities.
• Maintain logs of spare parts usage and completed repairs.

Required Qualifications

• Education: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) in Industrial Maintenance with fundamentals in mechanics and hydraulics.
• Experience: 3–5 years of field experience in:
• Maintenance of heavy industrial machinery
• Hydraulic systems
• Aluminum extrusion equipment

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of hydraulics principles and fluid flow.
• Proficiency in using measuring instruments and maintenance tools.
• Experience working with electromechanical systems related to hydraulic operations.
• Ability to perform accurate diagnostics and precision repairs.

• Physically fit to handle heavy equipment and stand for extended periods.
