Terra Contracting is seeking experienced Hydrovac Operators / CDL Class A Drivers to support underground utility and telecommunications construction projects throughout Southern Nevada.

This position is ideal for candidates with experience operating hydrovac trucks, vacuum excavation equipment, dump trucks, or other heavy commercial vehicles in the construction industry. What You'll Do

• Safely operate hydrovac excavation trucks and other commercial vehicles.
• Perform hydro excavation around underground utilities and critical infrastructure.
• Transport equipment and materials to construction sites throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load, unload, and secure equipment in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Work closely with foremen, superintendents, and field crews to support project operations.
• Assist field crews with utility construction activities when needed.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.

QualificationsRequired

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and construction equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical construction-related tasks.

Preferred

• Previous Hydrovac or Vacuum Excavation experience.
• Experience operating dump trucks, lowboys, or heavy haul equipment.
• Underground utility construction experience.
• Telecommunications construction experience.
• OSHA 10 Certification.
• Experience loading and transporting heavy equipment.
