Hygiene Department Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

This position is from Wednesday-Sunday; off Monday's and Tuesday's. If you cannot work weekends, please refrain from applying for the position.

MUST BE A REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental hygiene exam
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental x-rays
-Assist the dental hygienist as needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment

Requirements:
- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Proficiency in using dental software, such as Open Dental
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Skilled in dental assisting procedures, including chairside assistance and instrument handling
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques for dental diagnostics
