Job Purpose
To monitor, enforce, and improve hygiene and sanitation standards to ensure a safe and healthy environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities1. Inspection & Monitoring
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities (kitchens, restrooms, work areas, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation regulations
- Identify potential health risks and report issues
2. Compliance & Standards
- Enforce local health and safety regulations (e.g., food safety laws)
- Ensure adherence to standards like HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point)
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audits
3. Training & Awareness
- Train staff on hygiene practices and sanitation procedures
- Promote awareness of personal hygiene and workplace cleanliness
- Conduct refresher training sessions
4. Cleaning & Sanitation Management
- Develop cleaning schedules and checklists
- Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Monitor pest control programs
5. Incident Handling
- Investigate hygiene-related complaints or incidents
- Take corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Report serious risks to management
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain hygiene logs, inspection reports, and audit records
- Prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities

Educational Requirements
