Hyundai of Springfield is seeking a skilled and motivated Hyundai Certified Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate is experienced in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Hyundai vehicles while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining factory standards. Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Hyundai vehicles according to manufacturer standards
  • Complete warranty and repair orders accurately and efficiently
  • Conduct multi-point inspections and communicate findings clearly to service advisors
  • Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and drivability concerns
  • Utilize Hyundai diagnostic equipment and service information systems
  • Maintain ASE and Hyundai certification requirements
  • Ensure all work meets dealership quality and safety standards
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA guidelines
  • Test-drive vehicles as needed to verify repairs
  • Assist with mentoring apprentice or entry-level technicians when appropriate

Qualifications

  • Current Hyundai certification preferred
  • ASE certifications are a plus
  • Previous dealership or automotive repair experience required
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to operate scan tools and modern automotive diagnostic equipment
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced shop environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • High school diploma or GED required
