IAM Consultant – SailPoint IdentityIQ

Role Summary

The IAM Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and governing enterprise Identity and Access Management solutions using SailPoint IdentityIQ. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong governance understanding, and the ability to work in complex, multi-application environments with limited client-side support.

Key Responsibilities

Identity Architecture & Governance

• Design and implement enterprise IAM architectures using SailPoint IdentityIQ
• Define identity models, authoritative sources, and attribute precedence
• Design Joiner / Mover / Leaver (JML) lifecycle workflows
• Define and enforce access governance, SoD policies, and certification models
• Ensure compliance with security and audit requirements

Application Onboarding & Integration

• Onboard applications using SailPoint OOTB connectors (AD, Azure AD, SAP, SaaS, APIs)
• Perform entitlement aggregation, correlation, and provisioning configuration
• Work with HR, IT, and application owners to validate access models
• Support onboarding of complex systems (MDM, CMDB, PAM, APIs, custom apps)
• Group applications into waves and manage onboarding sequencing

Delivery & Collaboration

• Participate in Phase 0 discovery and planning activities
• Conduct technical workshops with stakeholders
• Support UAT, defect resolution, and go-live activities
• Prepare technical documentation, runbooks, and KT materials
• Work under a defined change and release management process

Risk & Quality Management

• Identify delivery risks related to data quality, ownership, and dependencies
• Ensure changes are properly reviewed and promoted across environments
• Escalate governance and security concerns appropriately
• Avoid unnecessary customization; promote reuse and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

Technical

• 4+ years of IAM implementation experience
• 3+ years hands-on SailPoint IdentityIQ
• Strong understanding of:
• HR authoritative sources
• Active Directory / Azure AD
• SAP & enterprise applications
• Access certification & SoD
• Experience with SaaS, REST/API-based integrations
• Familiarity with PAM integration (BeyondTrust preferred)

Conceptual & Governance

• Strong understanding of IAM governance principles
• Experience designing access models and approval workflows
• Ability to work in environments with incomplete or evolving processes
• Understanding of audit and compliance expectations

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently with limited client inputs
• Comfortable pushing back on unsafe or unclear requirements
• Structured, disciplined, and delivery-focused

Arabic speakers are preferred.
