About the Role:
Seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer (IAM) with strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of Identity and Access Management concepts, tools, and operations. This role is part of the IAM Operations team, supporting authentication and authorization services across enterprise applications.
You will play a key role in managing, integrating, and troubleshooting various IAM technologies to ensure secure, efficient, and seamless access for users across multiple lines of business.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support authentication and authorization services for enterprise applications.
- Implement and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) and Federated Identity Management solutions using IAM tools like Okta, SiteMinder, Azure AD, Ping Federate, and HYPR.
- Handle identity lifecycle management, ensuring alignment with corporate security standards and compliance policies.
- Troubleshoot complex access and login issues, supporting users and application teams in resolving IAM-related problems.
- Manage and support on-call rotation (9 AM – 9 PM) to respond to urgent operational issues.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to integrate IAM solutions and migrate between IAM platforms.
- Enforce security best practices and contribute to improving IAM processes, controls, and automation.
- Participate in IAM product integration, migration, and enhancement activities across multiple platforms.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in Information Security Engineering or related technical roles.
- Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and processes.
- Hands-on expertise in SSO technologies such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and FIDO.
- Experience supporting applications in large-scale, highly available distributed environments.
- Working knowledge of LDAP, Active Directory, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
- Familiarity with cloud IAM deployments across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle on-call operational support.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Kubernetes containerization and risk-based authentication frameworks.
- Ability to work in large enterprise systems with multiple interfaces, integrations, and middleware layers.
- Prior experience supporting migration or integration between IAM products.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
