Job Description
IBDP Psychology Teacher – Oakridge International School
Oakridge International School is seeking an experienced and passionate IBDP Psychology Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction aligned with IB standards and to support students’ academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver Psychology lessons as per the IBDP curriculum and assessment criteria.

Develop students’ inquiry, research, analytical, and critical thinking skills in line with the IB learner profile.

Prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations.

Use varied teaching strategies including case studies, research-based learning, and experiential methods.
-
Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and maintain academic records.

Integrate Theory of Knowledge concepts where applicable.

Participate in curriculum planning, moderation, and standardization activities.

Communicate effectively with parents and contribute to school events and the IB community.

Engage in ongoing professional development, including IB training.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field.

IBDP training or certification preferred.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching Psychology at IBDP or equivalent level.

Strong understanding of IB philosophy and assessment practices.
