IBM FileNet BPM Developer

We are looking for an experienced IBM FileNet BPM Developer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing business process solutions built on IBM FileNet, Case Foundation, and Business Process Manager (BPM) platforms. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional technical teams to deliver robust workflow automation, document management solutions, and end-to-end process improvements. About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing business process solutions built on IBM FileNet, Case Foundation, and Business Process Manager (BPM) platforms.

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain workflow solutions using IBM FileNet P8, FileNet BPM, Case Foundation, and Case Manager frameworks.
• Develop and configure Workflows, Process Tasks, Custom Components, and PE/CE APIs.
• Integrate FileNet solutions with external systems using Web Services, REST APIs, Java, and other enterprise middleware.
• Configure and troubleshoot Content Engine (CE), Process Engine (PE), Process Admin Console (PAC), and ACCE.
• Optimize workflow performance, identify bottlenecks, and improve system scalability.
• Collaborate with business analysts to understand requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Work on FileNet object stores, security models, metadata design, and document lifecycle management.
• Participate in deployments, release cycles, and environment configuration (Dev, QA, Production).
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure system reliability.
• Prepare system documentation, architecture diagrams, and workflow specifications.
• Conduct peer code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

Qualifications :

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with IBM FileNet P8, FileNet BPM, Process Designer, and Case Foundation.
• Strong understanding of FileNet architecture, including CE, PE, ICN, ACCE, and Process Administrators.
• Hands-on experience developing workflows, event actions, subscriptions, and content lifecycle rules.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience integrating FileNet with enterprise systems (ESB, SOAP services, RESTful services).
• Familiarity with databases such as Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server.
• Experience working with WebSphere Application Server or similar application servers.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent understanding of enterprise content management (ECM) principles.
• Ability to work with Git-based source control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with IBM Case Manager / Business Automation Workflow (BAW).
• Knowledge of IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA).
• Experience with IBM ICN plug-in development and custom widgets.
• Understanding of workflow orchestration tools (Camunda, BPMN 2.0 engines).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of enterprise security standards (LDAP, SSO, OAuth).
