Education & Experience:

• Having a computer science degree
• minimam 7 years of experience in:
• AIX
• VIOS
• PowerSC
• PowerVC
• HMC
• PEP 2.0
• LPM
• VM Recovery Manager
• Workload migration
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical personnel
• IBM Power Server Certified

Role and responsibility:

• Provide technical support to application and database team.
• Diagnose and resolve problems and issues to ensure smooth and reliable operations
• Continuously monitor performance, including CPU, memory, network, and storage usage, using relevant tools and software.
• Apply updates and patches to the mentioned software to ensure security and functionality.
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on Power systems, such as Pagreplacing faulty components and enhancing capabilities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date configurations and changes documentation Prepare and present regular reports on incidents, and improvements to stakeholders and management.
