Position Summary

Join a fast-paced, hands-on team producing premium clear ice blocks. This is a physical, team-oriented position for someone who takes pride in hard work, maintaining a clean and efficient workspace, and helping production run smoothly. We are looking for a dependable team player who is willing to learn, work safely, and grow with the company.

Position Details

• Pay starts at $15.00 per hour and may increase based on experience, performance, and growth in the role
• Full shift details will be discussed during the interview process
• Benefits begin once full-time status is reached

Responsibilities

• Prep production lines and staging areas for daily runs
• Lift, pull, and position pumps and equipment
• Vacuum excess water as needed during production
• Monitor tempering and pull blocks when ready
• Trim, bag or box, and palletize finished product
• Load trailers/vans/trucks with ice sculptures and ice blocks
• Install new liners correctly and add water to specified levels
• Secure clips, set up pumps, and power compressors once ice is cleared
• Double-check equipment, water levels, and packaging for quality and safety
• Clean and organize the shop
• Remove garbage and maintain a safe work environment
• Anticipate next-day production needs by preparing boxes, materials, and spare parts
• Complete required paperwork and production logs accurately
• Work steadily and cooperatively with teammates to meet production goals

Qualifications

• Comfortable with physical labor and lifting pumps, blocks, and pallets
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Team player with good communication skills
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate pumps, compressors, and simple tools
• Ability to work in cold and wet environments
• Previous production, warehouse, or ice or food handling experience is a plus
