Let It Be Ice Cream is hiring a part-time Ice Cream Scooper for our team in Gulfport, must be 16+ years old. The available positions are weekend day shifts (11:30am-5pm) and weekday and weekend evening shifts (5pm-close).

This is a tipped position and can make up to $14 to $20+ per hour depending on the season. 2-3+ days per week ideal.

We are seeking a friendly Ice Cream Scooper to join our team. We are an ice cream parlor with homemade ice cream and baked goods. In this role you will be responsible for providing warm and welcoming customer service while serving delicious treats.

The Crew Member will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment; we value our team as well as the impact they have on our customers. We are seeking an individual who will show up on time ready to work, has a strong work ethic, and can work independently as well as part of a team to ensure that we are providing each of our customers with an outstanding experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all tasks correctly required to prepare and present ice cream/food to customers
• Operate cash register: handle, balance and follow all cash handling procedures efficiently and correctly
• Talk to customers in a welcoming way to take their orders and answer questions
• Maintain sanitary conditions of the ice cream scooping area, front of house and kitchen.
• Work as part of a team
• Interact with co-workers and supervisors in a friendly manner
• Follow all company procedures and safety regulations
• Be comfortable being in front of the camera and making social media content

Requirements:

• Must be 16+ to apply
• Be available to work 2-3+ days per week, opening shift (11:30-5pm) and/or closing shift (5pm-close), including weekends
• Stand on your feet for extended periods of time, bending, lifting heavy items
• Share a love of clean and tidy spaces and an eagerness to keep them that way
• Work in close proximity to others
• Strict adherence to hygiene and cleanliness
• Acquire a Food Handler's card within 60 days of hire date
