Ice cream server/barista

Overview

We are a fast paced high end ice cream/coffee/baked goods shop in a tourist area looking for a part time ice cream server/barista. We are VERY busy during peak tourist season (March-June), with the potential to make $30+/hour with tips. Paycheck with tips is paid biweekly. We are a cashless business and utilize Square POS.

Shifts required:

Tues-Weds 9am - 6:30pm

Sun-Wed 9am - 6:30pm

Responsibilities

• Scoop and serve ice cream, prepare and serve coffee beverages and dessert items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter and work area
• Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers professionally and efficiently
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
• Restock supplies as needed

Requirements

• Previous barista experience is strongly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Food handling certification needed within 1 week of hire
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
