Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling food orders and transactions. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the culinary industry and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. The ideal candidate should love working with customers, have POS experience.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately.
  • Operate the cash register, processing payments, and handling cash with precision.
  • Ensure all food safety standards are met, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms to provide a welcoming environment.
  • Assist in preparing food items as needed, adhering to culinary standards.
  • Utilize POS system for order entry and transaction processing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.

Requirements

  • Must have vehicle to get to & from work.
  • POS experience
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and ability to implement them effectively.
  • Proficient in basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions.
  • Experience operating a cash register and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
  • Strong sales skills to promote menu items and enhance customer experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in culinary or food service roles is preferred .
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for interacting with customers.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

- Prepare and create a variety of ice cream flavors and products
- Operate ice cream making equipment and machinery
- Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistent quality
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Provide excellent customer service by upselling and recommending ice cream flavors and toppings
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system for transactions

```Requirements```
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating sales totals
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations. Needs food handler license
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements and recipe adherence
- Culinary experience or training is a plus, but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.70 - $18.00 per hour
