Ice Cream Server/Cashier

Dippin' Dots is looking for ice cream servers/cashiers to join our team along the Wasatch Front for the summer season. Work hours are mostly nights and weekends from Wednesday to Saturday.

Dippin' Dots is an ice cream business based out of Salt Lake. Our goal is to hire capable employees for the summer who can take payments and serve ice cream at various events around the state each week.

Position Summary:

Dippin' Dots is looking for people who are responsible, have the ability to work well in a team environment. The position is part time and the job site varies each week depending on the event location. We work most of the Rodeos, City Festivals and County Fairs in the state. You will be working on a part time basis up to about 20 hours per week and may have another job while on staff with us.

Requirements:

• Season runs 16 weeks over the summer; May 22nd to September 7th
• Able to work nights and weekends
• Minimum of 16 years old
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs. unassisted
• Reliable transportation to and from event sites, own car preferred
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Must have a current Food Handler's Permit or the willingness to obtain one

Responsibilities:

• Setup and takedown food trailer for each shift
• Scoop ice cream per customer order
• Follow-through with customers on orders and make sure they are satisfied with their experience.
• Take payment with various methods including cash, credit card and Venmo
• Manage inventory and update managers on supplies
