Ice Cream Server/Cashier

Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Ice Cream Server/Cashiers to join our vibrant team. Prior experience in food preparation, cashiering, or the food industry is preferred but not required. Responsibilities

• Serve ice cream and other menu items with attention to presentation and quality standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Take customer orders efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food prep stations, counters, and dining spaces
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, following proper food safety guidelines
• Restock supplies and ensure the serving area is organized and inviting
• Buss tables and assist with general restaurant duties to support smooth operations
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols to ensure food safety standards are met

Skills

• Prior experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants preferred
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
• Experience with food preparation, food handling, sanitation, and kitchen operations is desirable
• Familiarity with serving in cafes or retail environments such as grocery stores or food industry settings is advantageous
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
• Ability to maintain professionalism while working under pressure in a lively environment
