We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while managing food orders and transactions. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately.
• Operate the cash register and process payments.
• Ensure that all food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service.
• Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Manage time effectively to handle peak hours efficiently while maintaining quality service.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to provide informed recommendations.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cash registers and retail math is beneficial for managing transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Strong time management skills are necessary for handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is an advantage but can be learned on the job.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while providing excellent customer service.
