Cashier/Ice Cream Server/Customer Service

Starting Base pay is $9 an hour plus tips which are at $2 - $3 an hour normally but could be more or slightly less depending on customer volume, All of the tips go to employees. Shift lead will be available after working with us for atleast two months and showing your dedication towards the job.

As a Cashier/Ice Cream Server, you will be responsible for greeting guests in a friendly and inviting tone. As well as, serving Ice Cream and answering any questions about our menu, or any of our products. We are looking for a team player who is excited and ready to learn. You will be trained how to take, make, and serve orders including(but not limited to) cakes, signature creations, milkshakes, and smoothies. We can't wait for you to join our Cold Stone Creamery team!

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a restaurant is preferred but not required. We will train the right person!
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds, and have stamina to walk or stand during their shift.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Must be able to follow all departmental procedures and work rules.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Serve Ice Cream while maintaining a courteous, positive attitude. This includes prepping for service (making waffle cones, making ice creams, etc.) and cleaning up after each service item is finished.
• Greet customers upon arrival and answer any questions about our menu or services. Advise customers based on age, interest etc.,and provide menus in a helpful manner. Serve customers accurately while providing a pleasant experience for everyone! You will receive extensive training from day one! You are part of our family so you must be kind and respectful towards all staff, customers, and their families! You must be punctual! We expect you to be in uniform, clocked in, and ready to work by your scheduled time.
