ICT Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver ICT lessons aligned with the curriculum and grade level
• Teach computer fundamentals, software applications, coding basics, and digital tools
• Develop students’ digital literacy, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Conduct practical lab sessions and ensure safe use of ICT resources
• Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and exams
• Maintain computer lab equipment and report technical issues
• Integrate technology into classroom teaching across subjects
• Promote cyber safety, digital citizenship, and ethical technology use
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments
• Participate in school meetings, trainings, and professional development

Experience

• 2 or 3+ years of teaching experience preferred
• Experience with CBSE/ICSE Board ICT curriculum is an advantage

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• B.Ed. or relevant teaching certification (preferred/mandatory as per institution norms)
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking basics
