Travel ICU RN – Nights | Prescott, AZ | 13-Week Contract | 36 Hrs/Week

This Prescott, AZ opportunity offers a diverse mix of CVICU, MS ICU, and PCU patients—all under one critical care service line. Assignment Details:

• Start Date: December 2, 2025
• End Date: March 2, 2026
• Contract Type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts, 7p–7a)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed

About the Unit: This multi-unit ICU includes 12-bed CVICU, 8-bed COVID ICU, 8-bed MS ICU, and a 16-bed PCU. You’ll care for patients with post-op cardiac conditions, CRRT, IABP, Impella, TAVR, STEMI, and more. Nurses are expected to float across all critical care areas and PCU, with ratios ranging from 1:1–2 in ICU and 1:3–4 in PCU. Expect to interpret ABGs, titrate critical care drips, and troubleshoot vents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care for high-acuity ICU and PCU patients
• Titrate pressors, sedation, antiarrhythmics, and anticoagulants
• Interpret EKGs and ABGs independently
• Manage ventilators, BiPap, HFNC, and Vapotherm
• Float to PCU, MST, and other ICU units as needed
• Document accurately using Cerner

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Valid RN license (compact or AZ)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Experience with IABP, CRRT (Prismaflex), and post-op cardiac patients preferred

Education:

• ADN or BSN (BSN not required)

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong critical care background with cardiac and neuro experience
• Skilled in ventilator weaning and troubleshooting
• Proficient in reading telemetry (Nihon Khoden monitors)
• Familiarity with Glidescopes and bedside procedures
