IDMC Administrator

Objective:

IDMC Admin is responsible for administering, configuring, and maintaining the Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform ensuring smooth operation, security, and performance of data integration and governance workflows across the Enterprise Data platform environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Install, configure, and manage IDMC environments, ensuring seamless integration with other GCP-based services like Big Query, Google Cloud Storage, and others.

• Monitor and maintain the performance of IDMC systems, ensuring smooth data integration, transformation, and quality workflows across platform.

• Administer user access controls and permissions within IDMC, ensuring secure and compliant data access for stakeholders across the platform.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IDMC configurations, workflows, and data pipelines, coordinating with data engineering and IT teams.

• Manage data pipeline orchestration and scheduling, ensuring that ETL/ELT jobs are executed efficiently and on time, integrating data from various sources.

• Perform system health checks and capacity planning, ensuring that the IDMC environment scales effectively to meet the growing demands of the business.

• Collaborate with data engineers and architects to design and implement data integration strategies using IDMC, ensuring that all data flows meet business requirements and are compliant with governance policies.

• Ensure data governance and quality policies are integrated into the IDMC environment, providing tools and processes that ensure the integrity, consistency, and security of data being processed.

• Conduct regular audits and monitoring of IDMC logs and performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and troubleshooting potential issues proactively.

• Support data transformation processes in IDMC, ensuring that data is properly cleansed, enriched, and prepared for analytics in platforms like Power BI, and other downstream systems.

• Train business and technical teams on best practices for utilizing IDMC and integrating data management workflows across the platform, ensuring proper usage of data pipelines and data governance tools.

• Document configuration, processes, and workflows related to IDMC, maintaining clear and up-to-date records of system architecture, user roles, and data management procedures.
