Job Summary:

As an IFS ERP Business Analyst within ECI’s IT organization, you will support and enhance our enterprise systems to maintain our reputation for operational excellence and technology innovation. You will work closely with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, design solutions, and ensure that our IFS ERP platform continues to enable efficient and scalable business operations.

You will be responsible for defining and documenting system requirements, implementing enhancements, and performing testing to ensure successful outcomes. This role requires strong experience with IFS application functionality and configuration.

As a trusted partner and subject matter expert, you will collaborate with internal teams, business users, and external partners to manage enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver solutions that align with organizational goals. You will apply your business and technical expertise to translate complex requirements into practical, high-quality system solutions.

This position demands strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. You will use your planning and organizational abilities to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery while continuously developing your knowledge of business processes and ERP best practices to drive ongoing improvement across ECI’s business systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements for enhancements, integrations, and new solutions within the IFS ERP platform.
  • Configure, test, and implement system changes, ensuring alignment with business needs and IT standards.
  • Perform advanced problem-solving and root-cause analysis for complex system and process issues across multiple functional areas.
  • Evaluate new IFS functionality, updates, and modules to identify opportunities to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and drive business value.
  • Provide day-to-day application support, ensuring stability, performance, and user satisfaction across IFS and related systems.
  • Collaborate with business units on process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to automate, simplify, or optimize workflows.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of system configurations, integrations, and changes for ongoing support and audit purposes.
  • Monitor application performance, analyze feedback, and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Partner with IT infrastructure and integration teams to ensure seamless data flow between IFS and other enterprise systems.
  • Stay current on IFS roadmap developments, industry trends, and emerging technologies to recommend improvements proactively.
Requirements:

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 4–6+ years of experience as an IFS Business Systems Analyst or in a similar ERP role.
  • Strong experience with IFS Cloud, including Work Orders/Tasks/MWO, Accounting, Projects, and preferably Shop Orders and Inventory Management.
  • Proven ability to gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional solutions.
  • Experience supporting implementations, upgrades, and process improvements within an ERP environment.
  • Solid IFS administration skills, including configuration, reporting, and workflows.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and IT teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a practical focus on business outcomes.
  • Certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA are a plus.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting to evolving business needs.
