IGCSE English Language Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Cambridge English Teacher to join our school's faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English language and literature to students following the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

1. _Teaching_: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons to students of various age groups and skill levels, following the Cambridge CIE curriculum.

2. _Lesson Planning_: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating various teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles.

3. _Assessment_: Set and mark assessments, exams, and coursework, providing constructive feedback to students on their progress.

4. _Literary Analysis_: Teach and guide students in the analysis and interpretation of literary texts, including fiction, poetry, and drama.

5. _Language Skills_: Develop students' language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

6. _Communication_: Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and guardians to ensure students receive consistent support and guidance.

7. _Professional Development_: Stay updated on developments in English language education and the Cambridge CIE curriculum, attending relevant training and conferences.

Requirements

1. _Qualifications_: Bachelor's degree in English Language, Literature, or Education; Cambridge International Diploma in Teaching and Learning (CIDTL) or equivalent.

2. _Experience_: Minimum 2 years of experience teaching English language and literature, preferably with Cambridge CIE curriculum.

3. _Skills_: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

4. _Certifications_: Valid teaching certification or license.

Preferred Qualifications

1. _Master's degree_: In English Language, Literature, or Education.

2. _Cambridge CIE experience_: Familiarity with Cambridge CIE curriculum and assessment methods.

3. _International teaching experience_: Experience teaching in an international school setting.
