IGCSE PGT Mathematics Teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to deliver the Cambridge International IGCSE, AS, and A Level Mathematics curricula. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in teaching these specific international qualifications, bringing the subject to life with real-world examples and innovative teaching methods, and helping students achieve strong academic results. Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across various topics in the IGCSE and AS/A Level Mathematics syllabi (e.g., Pure Mathematics, Mechanics, Probability & Statistics).
• Assessment and Feedback: Develop and grade assessments, including tests, homework, and mock examinations, providing constructive feedback to students to aid their academic progression.
• Exam Preparation: Prepare students thoroughly for the specific requirements of the Cambridge International examinations (e.g., using past papers and understanding examiner reports).
• Student Support: Identify and address students' varying learning styles and academic needs, ensuring each student is supported in achieving their full potential, including achieving top grades (A/A*).
• Classroom Management: Maintain a stimulating, safe, and orderly learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
• Collaboration: Work effectively within the Mathematics department, sharing best practices and contributing to curriculum development.
• Professional Development: Stay current with developments in mathematics education and the specific syllabus requirements for IGCSE and A Level qualifications.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: A Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Experience: Prior experience teaching IGCSE, AS Level, and A Level Mathematics is often a requirement.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of the specific content and structure of Cambridge International .

Skills:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts clearly and simply.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for mathematics education.
• Familiarity with educational technology (e.g., using iPads, Zoom, or other platforms for lessons).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
