IGCSE Physics and Chemistry Teacher

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced IGCSE Physics and Chemistry Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in both subjects and a passion for delivering high-quality education to upper-secondary students.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans for IGCSE Physics and Chemistry classes.

2. Provide clear explanations of complex scientific concepts and theories.

3. Foster a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to student success.

4. Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles.

5. Assess student progress through regular evaluations, assignments, and examinations.

6. Provide constructive feedback to students to facilitate their academic growth.

7. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall curriculum and teaching methodologies.

8. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and academic performance.

9. Stay updated with the latest developments in the fields of Physics and Chemistry and incorporate relevant advancements into the curriculum.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Education, or a related field.

2. Teaching certification or relevant teaching qualification.

3. Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching Physics and Chemistry.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics and student behaviour.

6. Passion for teaching and nurturing students' academic growth and development.
