Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented IIoT Sales Manager to lead Industrial IoT (IIoT) solution sales across manufacturing and process industries. The role involves strategic B2B sales, solution consulting, and revenue growth through smart factory and digital transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have strong industrial networking, consultative selling skills, and experience in high-value solution sales.

Key Responsibilities

IIoT Business Development

  • Drive sales of Industrial IoT solutions, smart monitoring systems, and data-driven automation platforms
  • Identify target industries (Manufacturing, Automotive, Textile, FMCG, Process Industries, etc.)
  • Generate and qualify high-value sales leads
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
  • Promote IIoT as a productivity, predictive maintenance, and cost-optimization solution

Solution Consulting & Client Engagement

  • Understand customer plant operations and digital transformation needs
  • Deliver product presentations, demos, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs)
  • Prepare customized IIoT proposals aligned with client requirements
  • Coordinate with technical and implementation teams for deployment planning

Sales & Revenue Closure

  • Prepare techno-commercial proposals
  • Lead pricing discussions and contract negotiations
  • Manage complete sales lifecycle (Lead → Demo → Proposal → PO → Payment)
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets

Account & Channel Management

  • Develop and manage key industrial accounts
  • Build long-term customer relationships
  • Identify and onboard channel partners / system integrators
  • Maintain CRM reports, forecasts, and pipeline tracking

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Industrial IoT (IIoT), Industry 4.0 concepts
  • Experience in B2B solution selling
  • Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, MES, Cloud Platforms, Edge Devices
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Target-driven with strategic thinking ability
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Qualifications

  • MBA (Marketing / Business Development) – Preferred
  • B.E (Any Discipline) – Mandatory

Experience

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in Industrial Automation / IIoT / Smart Manufacturing sales
  • Proven track record in target achievement and project closures
