Purpose
Work together with colleagues in the store management team to lead and manage IKEA Food, fulfilling the purpose of the function by building business and people together. Strive to make people smile while providing irresistible food offers in a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guests to return again and again.
Accountabilities

Ensure guests are always in focus and strive to make them smile, meeting and serving them with empathy and care.

Take an active part in creating the IKEA store business plan, using the country business plan based on Growing IKEA Together and IKEA Food Direction & Strategy as input. Collaborate with the matrix to understand how to work correctly with national and global priorities, as well as local needs, when developing this plan. Work with the team to develop and implement a clear IKEA Food action plan, followed up regularly.

Maximize commerciality to grow sales, conversion rates, and average check.

Actively contribute to making the IKEA store successful and high performing, today and tomorrow.

Operate IKEA Food in accordance with legislation, accountable for operating the IKEA Food areas within the IKEA store according to IKEA Quality and Food Safety requirements.

Create an environment where IKEA culture is a strong and living reality, ensuring diversity is valued and the IKEA store is regarded as a great place to work.

Ensure a simple and straightforward internal communication and information flow, securing that key information is understood by all co-workers.

Maintain a safe and healthy working environment for co-workers in accordance with local legal requirements and established IKEA standards.
Qualifications and Experiences

Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.

5 years of experience in food service.

Broad IKEA management experience or a proven track record in a high-volume or multi-unit retail or food service chain. Deep knowledge of management and leadership, including experience in conscious leadership aligned with IKEA values.

Expertise in forecasting and demand planning.

Specific Designations, Certifications, Licenses: HACCP, ISO 22000 FSMS.

Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
