You play an important role in the department, maintaining systems and performing tasks and activities that support our continuous improvement (CI) processes and culture. You help with data collection, ensure its accuracy, promote CI progress and keep track of the department KPI scorecards.
How you will contribute
You will:

Provide training on CI tools and techniques. You will also help departments follow our established daily management system (DMS)

Help teams collect data or extract it from the system to support CI activities and the DMS
-
Facilitate root-cause analysis to address identified losses and departmental KPI scorecard gaps
-
Establish new work standards to sustain improvement
-
Train and qualify colleagues on CI tools and new work standards resulting from CI activities
What you will bring

CI and high-performance work systems experience

Strong facilitation and communication skills to support team discussions on CI activities

Application of lean and/or TPM tools in a factory or operations environment

Ability to manipulate and validate data in manual and automated systems

Mastery of Excel and other data analytics tools

Organized and disciplined to support and educate on the DMS process

Logical and structured thinking to extract insights from data

What you need to know about this position:

Lead and be Accountable to establish a strong Governance to Review, Control Operational performance and Continuous Improvement plan and embed a zero-loss mindset to constantly improve and deliver against best in class both internally and externally. Drive the Operating team to identify and manage improvements to technology, culture, capability, and operating systems to deliver a best practice and reliable operation.

Deliver the SQCDSM targets-Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability & Morale for the lines, to ensure Process stability; Participate in the DMS- Daily Management systems meetings at the shift and line level

Own the technology and process and centerline settings for the equipment and process and has deep technical mastery of the process and equipment

Assist in VSU for the new initiatives and enables the VSU team; help the line leader in internal and external benchmarking and reapplication; be the subject matter expert on one of the component categories and will be a trainer of PM related subjects for the plant

Previous experience leading, motivating and engaging teams

Knowledge of Integrated Lean Six Sigma Work Systems

Knowledge of Measurement Methods and Statistical Analysis

Previous Project Management experience

Previous experience in Production, Process or Continuous Improvement experience within Food Manufacturing

Green Belt/Black Belt preferred.
Education / Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree of Engineering
