Imaging Coordinator

Position Summary
The Imaging Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily imaging operations, ensuring efficient workflow, quality control, and timely delivery of imaging services. This role acts as a key liaison between technical staff, radiologists, administrative teams, and clients to maintain high standards of diagnostic imaging support and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage daily imaging schedules and patient flow to optimize departmental efficiency
- Ensure imaging procedures (MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, etc., as applicable) are properly prepared, documented, and executed
- Serve as the communication bridge between radiology staff, referring physicians, and administrative departments
- Monitor imaging quality assurance processes and compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of imaging requests, reports, and patient data in accordance with confidentiality regulations
- Assist in troubleshooting operational issues and escalating technical concerns when necessary
- Support inventory management for imaging supplies and equipment coordination
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards applicable in Qatar’s healthcare sector
- Provide administrative support for reporting, scheduling systems, and departmental documentation
- Promote a patient-centered environment with efficient, respectful, and timely service delivery
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Prior experience in medical imaging or radiology department coordination preferred
- Strong understanding of imaging workflows and radiology information systems (RIS/PACS) is an advantage
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with attention to detail

Pay: Up to QAR650,000.00 per year
