Imaging Scheduler

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Imaging Scheduler to join our team.

Job Summary:
The Imaging Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling imaging procedures, with a primary focus on CT, mammography, and x-ray appointments. This role requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule imaging procedures (CT, mammography, x-ray) in a timely and efficient manner.
• Communicate with patients to confirm appointments, provide preparation instructions, and answer any questions.
• Coordinate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate scheduling and patient flow.
• Verify patient information and insurance coverage to ensure accurate billing.
• Manage and update the scheduling system, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Handle patient inquiries and resolve any scheduling conflicts or issues promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the Radiology department.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree is a must.
• Previous experience in medical scheduling, preferably in radiology or imaging.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, particularly related to radiology.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using scheduling software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Must Speak Spanish

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
