*Job Overview*

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as experience in various settings such as clinics, inpatient facilities, and home health environments. This role is vital in developing individualized care plans that enhance patient recovery and improve their quality of life.

*Responsibilities*

- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.

- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient goals and needs.

- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and document patient progress accurately.

- Provide hands-on therapy techniques, including exercises and modalities, to promote healing and rehabilitation.

- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and strategies for recovery at home.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hospital medicine or orthopedic settings to ensure comprehensive patient care.

- Monitor patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in physical therapy and participate in ongoing professional development.

*Experience*

- A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.

- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

- Prior experience in clinical settings, including inpatient care or home health, is preferred but not mandatory.

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential.

- Experience with orthopedics or rehabilitation is a plus.

- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
