Job Title: Florida LPN/RN Non Agency Private Duty Home Health Nurse

Duties:
- Provide personal care services to one nonverbal patient in her home, including grooming and dressing.
- Assist with meal feeding.
- Administer medications by mouth and through gtube.
- Monitor vital signs and possible seizures.
- Assist with mobility and 2 person transfers (patient is too small for hoyer lift) to walker and toileting chair ensuring patient safety at all times.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patient in a nonsmoking home.

Qualifications:
- Active and clear Florida LPN or RN required. Please do not apply if no Florida LPN or RN. Compact is acceptable.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with one patient and her family in a pet friendly (dogs visit occasionally) home. Mother is available to help and works from home.
- Ability and understanding working with a nonverbal sweet special needs individual with cognitive and physical impairment.

• This is a private duty independent non agency position with pay rates (starting at $28 for LPN and $32 for RN with pay increases possible within 90 days). Wages reported through a 1099. There are no paid benefits. Pay is direct deposited from medicaid every 2 weeks.
• Afterschool and weekend availability is helpful . Overnight shifts are available on Tues, Thursday and any weekends. Nurses can work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis. Time and a half paid can be approved for holidays worked.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
