Immediate Opening Front Office /Scribe/Medical Assistant

We have immediate opening for 1 candidates who will be pursuing a career in the medical field such as: physician, nursing, nurse practitioner or physician assistant. Position is flexible from around 16 to 40 hours a week depending upon needs of the practice .

Candidate must have completed 4 years of college and graduated with a degree in preparation for their career in the medical field.

Candidate will be working in our Neurology/Sleep Medicine practice at in East San Jose . It is first hand exposure to a clinical setting for students pursuing a career in healthcare to work one on one with physicians and acquire medical terminology and other clinical skills.

Your responsibilities would include:

* Rooming patients,

*taking vitals,

*scribing the physician visit in the electronic medical record system,

* cleaning and stocking exam rooms,

* Answering TELEPHONES

*Scheduling appointments

*Insurance verification and authorization

**Other projects assigned by the physician which may include assisting the physician in office procedures like EMG, EEG.

The ideal candidate would possess:

*Excellent customer service skills

*A professional and courteous manner

*Good references for maturity, work stability and excellent attendance *The ability to prioritize and work at a fast pace *Computer literacy : Medical transcription.

TYPING SPEED OF 60 WPM or MORE IS MUST

*The ability to speak, read and write English fluently.

*Ambitious and passion to grow in career

* Team player *Multi-task team effort is encouraged .

* Ability to work in a fast paced medical setting
