Position Overview

Haim Vasquez Immigration Law, PLLC is seeking a passionate, skilled Immigration Attorney to join our litigation and family-based immigration team. You will manage a diverse caseload—including removal defense, waivers, and family-based petitions—while representing clients before EOIR, USCIS, and other agencies. You’ll join a collaborative team that values excellence, empathy, and community service.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in immigration court (EOIR) hearings, bond proceedings, and USCIS interviews.
• Develop case strategies; prepare and file applications, motions, briefs, and appeals.
• Conduct client consultations and maintain clear, timely communication throughout each matter.
• Coordinate with legal assistants, paralegals, and support staff to manage deadlines and documentation.
• Participate in community outreach, legal education workshops, and firm pro bono initiatives.
• Contribute to a positive, mission-driven culture centered on client-focused advocacy and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ immigration law experience (removal defense or family-based preferred).
• Licensed and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, time-management, and organizational abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to immigrant rights and social justice.
• Preferred: law review, immigration clinic, or trial advocacy experience.
• Spanish fluency strongly preferred.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
