Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Advise clients regarding recommended strategies for the optimal resolution of their cases.
• Maintain communication with clients throughout their immigration process.
• Review applications and petitions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness before submitting to the corresponding government entity.
• Prepare clients for Consular interviews.
• Prepare and represent clients in USCIS as well as EOIR master and calendar hearings.
• Review Freedom of Information Act responses to find solutions for clients.
• Maintain and increase up-to-date knowledge of immigration law and policies through participation in webinars, staff meetings, self-education, and periodic training.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

• Minimum 2 years of immigration experience required.
• Must have a valid bar license to practice law in any state.
• Must be registered with EOIR.
• Strong writing, verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and ability to find creative solutions.
• Ability to serve clients in a professional and efficient manner.
• Competency to leverage technology to increase productivity.
• Ability to work with little oversight and manage a team.
• Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish (90% of our clients are Spanish speakers).
