Immigration Attorney (Maryland Bar Required – Spanish Speaking)

Yacub Law Office is seeking a dedicated and experienced Immigration Attorney to join our growing team. We are committed to providing high-quality representation to immigrant families and are looking for a compassionate, driven advocate who is fluent in Spanish.

Position Overview

The attorney will manage a caseload that includes removal defense, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) matters, and USCIS representation. The ideal candidate has at least one year of immigration law experience and is comfortable handling cases independently while working collaboratively within a team environment.

Requirements

• Active license and in good standing with the Maryland Bar
• Minimum one (1) year of immigration law experience
• Fluency in Spanish (required)
• Experience handling:
• Removal proceedings before EOIR
• SIJS petitions and related state court proceedings
• USCIS interviews and hearings
• Strong legal writing and courtroom advocacy skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and a full caseload independently
• Excellent client communication skills

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in Immigration Court removal proceedings
• Prepare and litigate SIJS cases from intake through final adjudication
• Prepare applications and attend USCIS interviews and hearings
• Draft motions, briefs, and supporting legal memoranda
• Maintain organized case management and meet strict deadlines
• Provide compassionate, client-centered representation

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $90,000 – $110,000, commensurate with experience
