Position Overview:

We are seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Immigration Paralegal to join our Deportation Defense Department. The ideal candidate will be experienced in deportation defense and immigration law, capable of handling high caseloads efficiently, and able to provide exceptional support to our attorneys and clients. This role requires someone who can excel in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment, is team-oriented, and possesses excellent people skills.

This role can be carried out in person or remotely, depending on the candidate’s location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in preparing and filing legal documents related to deportation defense cases
• Conduct detailed client intake and communicate case progress to clients, ensuring clarity and empathy
• Organize, manage, and update client files with meticulous attention to detail
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, government agencies, and courts
• Participate in team meetings, offering insights to improve processes and achieve team goals

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• 2+ years of experience as an immigration paralegal, specifically in deportation defense
• Highly efficient, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
