Immigration Paralegal

Donoso & Partners, LLC is a nationally recognized immigration law firm located in Bethesda MD. We are seeking a full-time immigration legal assistant to work in business immigration cases such as E-2, L-1A, H-1B, TN, PERM, EB-5, EB-1A and EB-2 National Interest Waivers, plus associated I-485 Adjustment of Status applications. We are looking for an experienced self-motivated legal assistant to fill a full-time position.

The position requires a Bachelor's Degree. The ability to speak and write Spanish or Chinese is valued.

Donoso & Partners, LLC uses a hybrid work model (office/remote) for part of the week.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to lawyer and enhance office effectiveness
• Handle communication with clients, witnesses etc.
• Locate and develop case relevant information

• Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence
• Answer and direct phone calls
• Maintain contact lists
• Monitor deadlines and juggle calendars

Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree

• 1-3 years of previous immigration law experience. Familiarity with immigration law and immigration legal procedures

• Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office
• Computer literacy
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong writing skills in English
• Excellent organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,993.00 - $90,000.00 per year
