OVERVIEW: The implementation engineer is adept at various tag management solutions (TMS) and analytics tag implementation (client-side & server-side), collecting user behavioral data. This role includes from-the-scratch analytics platform implementation, re-implementation, ad-hoc implementation, and implementation audits on the eCommerce site and app. This role works towards understanding the organization’s data requirement, identifying website/mobile app use cases, creating necessary technical specifications documents (SDRs), implementing & validating tags, applying best practices, assisting clients in resolving GA related issues faced.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand eCommerce site analytics requirements, translate that into executable technical projects, design the technical architecture, implement the analytics tags, and deliver the work.
  • Interact with various stakeholders like Marketing, IT, and Operations teams, and be able to understand their requirements.
  • Document Solution Design Reference (SDRs), technical specifications documents, tag collection guides, data layer recommendations etc.,
  • Create analytics tags using tag management solutions GTM (Google Tag Manager).
  • Investigate any discrepancy in the Google Analytics reports and identify the implementation issue and fix it.
  • Write best optimum codes on technologies such as JavaScript, ES6, jQuery functions, HTML, and CSS to capture required data from the webpage without impacting the website performance.

Skills set required:

  • 4-6 years of experience in Website development and Web Analytics, and Digital Analytics.
  • In-depth hands-on experience in the TMS Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch / Experience Platform, Tealium, segment.io
  • Ability to work with web technologies for eCommerce, such as Shopify / AEM / WordPress CMS, and front-end technologies of JavaScript, HTML / CSS, and Google Apps Script.
  • Strong Tag Validation and Reports Validation skills.
  • Mobile Analytics Implementation experience is an added advantage.
  • Experience with dashboard development using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, DataStudio, MicroStrategy, Looker, etc.) and experience writing SQL and cloud data is an added advantage.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication and presentation skills.

Educational Qualification:

  • BE/ BTech / B.Sc., in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹550,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
