Implementation Specialist

Position Summary:

Implementation Specialists will be assigned specific clients to service and support all aspects of their payroll setup process from quality assurance procedures for ensuring accurate data entry or importing, running special processes, correcting master file information, and other related issues.

The Implementation Specialist's primary responsibilities will be to accurately key and reconcile payroll and Accounting information into the payroll software for clients.

Essential Functions:

As Implementation Specialist you will be responsible for:

  • Organizing client information to assure accurate entry of tax liabilities, employee demographics and year to date paycheck information
  • Enter general ledger from chart of accounts
  • Program time off formulas from client's time off policy into payroll software
  • Client communication on a timely fashion to ensure every deadline is met
  • Uses effective problem-solving skills to resolve data discrepancy issues
  • Able to provide and/or receive feedback from supervisor and apply constructive criticism
  • Follow documented company procedures to accomplished day to day work
  • Provide ongoing maintenance for current clients.
  • Provides support to the Transition Service Manager

Non-Essential Duties:

  • Special projects assigned by Executive staff
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

  • High school diploma is required. Associate Degree or higher in Business related field would be an asset
  • Customer Service experience
  • Self Motivated and goal oriented
  • Demonstrated ability in problem solving
  • PC literate, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction, quality service and attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work in a team environment as well as individually
  • Excellent telephone skills and Professional telephone etiquette
  • Sufficient skill to type and enter alpha and numeric data
  • Payroll Knowledge and/or Project Management experience are a plus

  • Agrees to comply with the confidentiality policy.
  • Uses independent judgment to provide solid client relationships.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Equipment / Software Used:

  • Personal Computer, Internet, Calculator, MS Office (Word, Excel), Google Suite, Evolution payroll software, Paytrain payroll training software, CRM software.

Financial Responsibilities:

  • None

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Working Conditions:

The scheduled workweek is a 5-day workweek - hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. Pre-Approved overtime may be required.

Salary Range (min) $22.50 - $33.75 (max)
