Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Import Assistant to support our international procurement operations. The ideal candidate will assist in sourcing, negotiating, and coordinating purchases from overseas suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining accuracy and compliance with import regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in identifying, evaluating, and communicating with international suppliers and vendors.

Conduct basic market research to explore new sourcing opportunities, pricing updates, and cost-saving options.

Support negotiation of contracts, payment terms, and shipment schedules with overseas suppliers.

Ensure all import activities comply with international trade laws, customs regulations, and import/export documentation requirements.

Maintain accurate procurement files, supplier records, and cost tracking reports.

Coordinate with finance, operations, and inventory teams to ensure smooth procurement and timely delivery of materials.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

3–4 years of relevant experience in procurement or import operations (preferred).

Good understanding of international trade procedures, Incoterms, and customs processes.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work under deadlines.

Fluency in English .

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
