Import Documentation:
- Prepare and verify import documents such as Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading / Airway Bill, BOE, COO, Insurance, and related documents
- Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs authorities for clearance
- Track shipments and ensure timely customs clearance
- Ensure compliance with customs duty, HS codes, IGST, and other import regulations
Export Documentation:
- Prepare export documents including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Shipping Bill, ARE-1/ARE-3 (if applicable), Certificate of Origin, Insurance, and transport documents
- Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, banks, and shipping lines for export shipments
- Ensure adherence to INCOTERMS, LC/Advance/DA/DP terms, and RBI regulations
- Handle documentation for export incentives such as RoDTEP, EPCG, Advance Authorization, etc.
Compliance & Coordination:
- Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, RBI, and GST regulations
- Maintain records of import/export transactions and statutory documentation
- Coordinate with internal departments such as Purchase, Stores, Finance, and Sales
- Support audits related to import/export documentation
Reporting & MIS:
- Maintain shipment tracking and documentation records
- Prepare MIS reports on imports, exports, duties, and logistics costs
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate in Commerce / Business / Logistics (preferred)
- 2–5 years of experience in import-export documentation
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
- Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in manufacturing or export-oriented units
- Knowledge of electric insulation / industrial products (added advantage)
