Job Summary:
RBK Groups is hiring an experienced Import-Export Executive to manage complete end-to-end international trade operations. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in coordinating with global buyers and suppliers, executing trade documentation, managing contracts, and overseeing shipments from initiation to delivery. Experience in non-perishable commodity trading such as agricultural products (pulses, grains), ferrous & non-ferrous metals, petrochemical products, or related categories is preferred.
This role is work from office only and suitable for candidates seeking a stable, long-term role in international trade operations.Key Responsibilities1. End-to-End Trade Operations
- Manage the full import and export process from inquiry to shipment completion.
- Handle sales and purchase contracts, pro forma invoices, purchase orders, and trade confirmations.
- Execute order processing, shipment bookings, and coordination with suppliers, buyers, freight forwarders, and customs agents.
2. Buyer & Supplier Coordination
- Coordinate with global buyers and suppliers for pricing, product specifications, logistics, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain strong relationships and ensure timely communication for smooth trade execution.
- 3. Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and verify all import-export documents:
. 4 .Shipment & Logistics Handling
- Work closely with freight forwarders, CHA, shipping lines, and warehouse teams.
- Track shipments and update internal teams and clients on shipment status.
- Troubleshoot documentation discrepancies or logistics issues.
5. New Business Development
- Identify new suppliers, buyers, and markets for expanding trade opportunities.
- Analyse commodity prices, global trade trends, and market movements.
- Support the Trade Manager in developing new product lines or markets.

6. Record Keeping & Reporting
- Maintain detailed MIS of shipments, contracts, documents, and compliance records.

Required Qualifications & SkillsEducation
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, International Business, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in import-export operations.
- Experience in agri commodities, metals, petrochemicals, or similar non-perishable trades preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end import-export procedures.
- Command over HS Codes, Incoterms, LC documentation, and trade compliance.
- Good understanding of global logistics, customs procedures, and international markets.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP/logistics systems is an advantage.
