Job Description

The organization is seeking an Import & Export Purchase Executive to manage end-to-end procurement, sourcing, and logistics operations for domestic and international trade. The role involves vendor coordination, documentation, banking processes, MIS reporting, and supply chain management to ensure smooth import and export operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement and sourcing for local and international products and services
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with domestic and overseas suppliers
• Coordinate and oversee logistics, shipping, and supply chain operations
• Prepare and manage banking documents related to import and export transactions
• Plan and process import payment requests in coordination with finance and banks
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, customs, and trade policies
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports including fund planning, stock planning, and inventory planning
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability
• Handle settlement of insurance claims related to transit damage or loss
• Coordinate with internal teams such as finance, sales, and product development
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and reporting
• Support business development activities related to sourcing and vendor management

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, documentation, and logistics
• Experience with banking documentation and international payments
• Proficiency in MIS reporting and data analysis
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Strong organizational and coordination abilities

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in import/export purchase or supply chain roles
• Familiarity with customs clearance, freight forwarding, and insurance processes
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple vendors and shipments
