Import & marketing Officer

1. Documentation & Record Keeping: Prepare and manage all necessary import documentation, maintaining accurate, audit-ready records of all transactions.

2. Banking & LC Management: Prepare LC instruction forms, verify LC drafts, and manage continuous follow-ups for amendments and bank documents.

3. Logistics Coordination: Liaison with foreign suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to track and monitor shipments from origin to destination.

4. Customs Clearance: Consult with forwarding agents regarding Goods Declarations (GDs) and verify certificates of analysis to ensure smooth port operations.

5. Financial Liaison: Coordinate with Finance and Accounts teams for timely payment of customs, duties, and taxes to avoid port delays or demurrage.

6. Regulatory Compliance: Monitor all shipments to ensure 100% compliance with local and international trade regulations.

7. EFS Specialization: Manage the Re-export process through the Export Facilitation Scheme (EFS) and oversee the associated documentation and compliance.

8. Pre-Arrival Planning: Secure shipment status from foreign vendors to ensure all clearance procedures are ready before the goods arrive at the port.

9. Strategic Sourcing: Identify and vet new foreign suppliers to optimize the supply chain and maintain a competitive edge.

10. Quality Standards: Apply knowledge of Oeko-Tex standards and other relevant certifications to ensure material compliance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
